So, I just got home from RT, and all I can say is...wow. Once again, I arrived home thoroughly exhausted, totally wired and lacking a voice. LOL. But I had fun. And I met some fabulous people. I'm telling you, there's nothing sweeter than hearing from a reader that they love your books. Nothing.

Despite all the craziness you may have read about on the blogs, I had a wonderful time. The hotel was in shambles, but that didn't matter. Many people weren't on their best behavior, but that's easy to ignore. This was the best RT for me yet.

Whew, it's been MUCH too long since I've updated this page. I'm so ashamed! But I promise to do better in the future.

This month is HUGE for me. First, I'll be appearing at the Romantic Times Booklovers Conference. I'll be signing at both the ebook/multimedia expo on Wednesday and the book fair on Saturday. If you happen to be at the conference, keep a lookout for the vampire guy wearing a t-shirt with my bookcover on it. I'm thinking I might do a raffle that day, give away a couple of books and some fun, vampy gifts.

Second, my first Aphrodisia title, DARK MASTER, will be appearing in stores this month. I can't tell you how excited I am!

And last but not least, I just received a new contract for a new paranormal romance series! PRINCE OF FIRE will release sometime in January of 2009. I am SO thrilled! I've already posted a short blurb on my upcoming titles page.

Holy smokes! The good news just keeps coming!

Changeling Press just bundled my Carpe Nocturne series and is offering all three novellas as a single download! Better yet, it'll be available for the ebook Expo at RT next week. I'm over-the-top happy!

March has been a huge month for me. I just learned the cover for OBSIDIAN MIRROR won third place in the NOR awards! Thank you very much for voting!

In addition, I received some wonderful reviews of her latest ebook release, DOUBLE TAKE! Ruby from the Literary Nymphs called it an "unexpectedly poignant book" and gave it 4.5 nymphs, and Amanda with Romance Junkies gave it 5 Blue Ribbons, saying, "The sex scenes knocked me on my butt they were so explosive." Thank you to the reviewers!

Today is August 28, the day Real Vamps Don't Drink O-Neg releases. I just checked, and it is indeed "live" on Amazon, in stock and shipping. Woot! In addition, Sex and the Single Ghost is now available in mass market.

Popping in to let everyone know I signed a new contract with Changeling Press. Obsidian Mirror, a paranormal menage novella, will release sometime in the fall of this year. See the Upcoming Titles page for more information.

Dirty Little Lies (romantic suspense, Samhain Publishing) is available for purchase! Also, I'd like to share a little personal news--I'm a first time grandma! Baby Morgan was born premature but she's healthy and absolutely beautiful.

UPDATE: Carnal Hunger was accepted by my Ellora's Cave editor this past weekend! Woot! I signed a contract with Kensington for two erotic romances. The first, Dark Master (vampire bdsm), will be releasing in May, 2008 and the second (Hunger Unbound, shapeshifter bdsm) will release in the fall of 2008! Whoooo hoooo! I'm thrilled to be writing for Aphrodesia! Finally, I recently received a couple of terrific reviews of Carpe Nocturne: Dressed to Kill!

I have lots of great news to share!

First, I've turned in not one but two books to my Ellora's Cave editor. Hopefully I'll hear soon whether they've been accepted. Second, I received several fabulous reviews of Burning Hunger and Kiss Me; Kill Me. And third, Carpe Nocturne 3: If Looks Could Kill is available for purchase.

And third, I've just learned I'll have another print book available for purchase before the end of the summer. Immortal Secrets will be releasing some time this summer! Woot!

So much good news! Where do I start?

First, I have new covers for Real Vamps, Wild Nights and Burning Hunger. They are all fabulous, and I can't wait for the books to release.

Second, I learned Wild Nights will be releasing early--the last Friday in March!

Third, there's a new deal in the works with Kensington! Yay! I'll share all the details as soon as everything's finalized.

Finally, I was just informed that I'll have a new print book released by Ellora's Cave in early May. Animal Urges will contain the novellas Mark of the Beast and Touch of the Beast. And the print book will be available for the first time on May 5th booksigning I am attending in Akron, Ohio!

Lots of great news...although nothing real concrete. I've turned in two proposals to my agent and she's shopping them around. Plus, I contracted TOUCH OF THE BEAST with Ellora's Cave! Whoo hooo! I'm expecting to get a release date soon. Finally, I'm working on a new vampire series for Ellora's. The first book is a vampire menage (two dark and dangerous alphas! Drool!) and will be titled ETERNAL HUNGER (I think...we're still working on titles).

We're ending July on a HIGH NOTE!

MARK OF THE BEAST received its first review and it's absolutely phenomenal! I had a VERY hard time picking an excerpt for my site. The entire review is great. Check it out HERE.

July seems to be a good month for me all around. We'll forget about the fact that I get older every year at this time. I received my first Kensington offer last year in July. That's a day I'll long remember. This July is starting out with a bang too. I finished edits of MARK OF THE BEAST last night, so now it's just a matter of time before it releases. I (finally) found the perfect title for the series. ANIMAL URGES. How hot is that?! And I learned the title and release date for my Pocket anthology. MASTER OF SECRET DESIRES. {happy shivers}. It's releasing in June, 2007. Could there be MORE good news coming yet this month? I hope so!

More great news! My Ellora's Cave editor has officially accepted the launch book of my new shapeshifter series, Mark of the Beast! I don't have a release date yet, but I'm sure I will have one soon!

I'm thrilled to report I've signed with agent Natasha Kern! Woot, woot! I'm looking to enjoying a very long and rewarding relationship with her.

I'm not quite recovered from RT yet, but I wanted to pop in and say that RT was an absolute blast! I had the time of my life and can't wait until next year. I met some fabulous people--book sellers, readers and fellow authors, Divas...and I spent some quality time with some great folks from EC.

And the good news just keeps coming!

I just received word that book three of the Immortal Secrets series, SPELLS AND SEDUCTION, will release March 1st! That's exactly two weeks from now. I'm thrilled!

Also, I just learned I'll be signing books with two of my favorite Ellora's Cave authors on April 22! That's right, Jaid Black and Sherri King will be back in Michigan. And they're bringing a bus load of cover models with them!

Not a lot of really exciting news this month. I'm working on several projects, including a novella for Lady Jaided Magazine, a novel requested by a NY editor, and a novella for the Immortal Secrets series.
